Macao is a typical immigrant city. A most percentage of its population is Chinese, who have come from Chinese Mainland. So the research of immigration is very important to the development of the economy and society. It tries to find out the rule and characteristic of migration by reviewing and analyzing the history and characteristic of migration population of Macao. And the influence of migration to the economy and society of Macao is also researched.
