摘要 印度现代教育哲学家无不具有悲天悯人、无我利他、普度众生的“救世精神”。他们既是哲学冥想者,更是思想践行者。这也正是当代中国教育学者颇为欠缺之处。渴望有朝一日,中国教育学者豁然顿悟,走出书斋,成为思想践行者,不再自我沉醉于学者的狭小天地,在孤芳自赏中荒废一生。正如南泉普愿所说:“须向那边会了,却来这里行履。” Most of the contemporary Indian educational philosophers have inherited the tradition of meditation and action. They are concerned about the miseries of humans and spend all their lives guiding people to the enlightened world. They are not meditators who are away from the mundane world, but real actors who save the world. Such spirit of great sympathy for the world is what the current Chinese educators do not have. The writer of this paper sincerely hopes that they will one day become enlightened and go out of the tower to help the people, never being engrossed in an imagined world, indulging themselves in self-admiration and wasting their lives. As one Chinese Buddhist, Zen gymnosophist Nanquanpuyuan once said, 'one must strive to attain Nirvaana or true serenity, and come to save the world in the mundane world'.
