A Static Research of the Beginning of a Conversation

从会话分析和社会语言学的角度分析会话开场的特性。先简述套语、电话开场、闲谈的社会功能和序列结构,然后探讨它们的分析模式,最后评述会话开场静态研究的特点和局限,并提出一些建议。

This paper discusses the features of the beginning of a conversation from the perspectives of conversation analysis and sociolinguistics. First, it describes the social functions and sequences of formulaic language, telephone openings and small talks. Then, it moves to examine their analytical framework. Finally, it focuses on the features and limitations of the static research of the beginning of the conversation, and some suggestions are put forward thereafter.
