<Abstrcat> The differences are stated between the eastern and western areas in industrialization and urbanization,the prerequisites of accelerating the process of industrialization and urbanization in western areas and the economics these areas bring about are pointed out,steps and countermeasures are suggested to cope with the backward situation of the western areas.
