大学校园英汉语码转换的相关关系研究

A Correlational Study of Chinese-English Code-switching on Campus

本文是对大学校园里比较普遍的英汉语码转换现象的一项实证研究。结果发现:英汉语码转换与学生的英语水平成正相关,性别和话题也对语码转换的发生产生一定影响。研究表明,英汉语码转换是英汉双语能力高的一种表现,是一种有效的交际策略,有助于汉语交际,不会给主体语汉语带来危害。

<Abstrcat> The paper is an empirical study of the popular sociolinguistic phenomenon ChineseEnglish codeswitching on campus in China. The result shows that a positive correlation exists between codeswitching and students' English proficiency,and that gender and topic differences also have some influence on codeswitching. The study reveals that ChineseEnglish codeswitching is a symbol of higher bilingual competence, an effective communicative strategy, and thus beneficial to communication without doing harm to the Matrix Language Chinese.
