聚丙烯(PP)能够满足汽车轻量化、低成本、环保的发展目标,是用量最大、发展速度最快的汽车用塑料。为实现轻量化、低成本,汽车塑料件壁厚有减薄的趋势,这要求PP具有高强度和高流动性。开发聚合新工艺、新型催化剂、发展共混改性技术是国内外石化行业不断追求的目标。

Polypropylene (PP) is one kind of resin suitable for automobile with a greatest consumption and a fastest development speed; the resin is able to satisfy the requirements of weight saving, low cost and environment-friendly set forth by the enterprises in motor industry. Therefore, PP resin is supposed to have a high strength and high melt flow rate, aimed at meeting the trend of reducing wall thickness of the parts and articles used in vehicles. The development of new polymerization process, novel catalyst and blending technology is the focus of the constant effort made by the petrochemical enterprises at home and abroad targeting the increasingly applications of PP resin in the automobile industry.
