论三大语言学流派对英语名词化的探究

ON EXPLORATION FOR ENGLISH NOMINALIZATION OF THREE MAIN LINGUISTIC SCHOOLS

人们对名词化这个语法范畴的认识是逐渐深入的。本文探讨了三个语言学流派即描写结构主义语言学、转换生成语法和系统功能语言学对名词化的不同认识和理解,以及名词化在当今的发展。结果表明,学者对名词化现象的阐释远非一致,对名词化及其相关的许多问题仍然需要做进一步深入的研究。

People's cognition of the grammatical category nominalization goes deep gradually.This paper explores the different cognition and comprehension of nominalization of three linguistic schools: descriptive-structuralist linguistics, transformational-generative grammar and systemic-functional linguistics; as well as the development of nominalization today. At last, we get a conclusion that the interpretation of scholars for nominalization is not Absolutely unanimous, so we still need to make further study for the nominalization and many relevant issues.
