This paper has analysed the necessity of the modification to the C650-2 lathe. According to the actual conditions of the lathe, the modification is for strengthening and improving the control on it to use the PLC and the VVVF. After it is modified,the operation of the lathe will be more convenient, safe, high-efficiente and good for environmental protection.
