相位敏感放大器在脉冲压缩中应用的探讨

摘要 文章介绍了一种新的脉冲压缩器,它是在梳状色散光纤压缩器中加入了相位敏感放大器(PSA)而构成的。理论研究表明PSA不但对群速度色散(GVD)引起的脉冲展宽有补偿作用,而且对自相位调制(SPM)引起的脉冲展宽也有抑制作用。因此它能较大程度地改善梳状色散光纤压缩器的效果。 A new compressor that combines comb-like fiber chain and phase-sensitive amplifiers is proposed in this paper. Theory analysis finds that the application of phase-sensitive amplifiers in comb-like compressor can compensate pulse broadening induced by group-velocity dispersion (GVD) and self-phase modulation (SPM). This kind of compressor can provide a better quality of pulse compression than the comb-like compressor does.
