在过去的３０年里，分子生物学、分子药理学、生物化学、医学以及数理方法向药物化学中渗透，使药物化学学科取得了很大进展。新药设计、新药研究和新药开发既已成为药物化学的主要功能，也已成为我国社会发展对药物化学提出的基本要求。为顺应这种趋势，药物化学专业的培养目标已开始由培养仿制型人材向培养创新型人材迁移。

the past 30 years under the influence of molecular biology, molecular pharmacology,biochem-istry, mcdicine and mathematical physical methods a great deal of advances have been made in medicinalchemistry. Design,research,and development of mew drugs have become the major functions of medici-nal chelnistry。With the requirements of societal development, the discipline of medicinal chemistry inchina should aim at training qualified medicinal chemists of R&D of mew drugs.
