In this paper, an access control mechanism called TRBAC (task role based access control) is introduced, which models from the tasks in workflow and dynamically manages the permissions through tasks and task status. The relationships between tasks and task instances are explained. In the TRBAC model, permissions are assigned to tasks and tasks are assigned to roles. The basic concepts of TRBAC are introduced and a formalization description and an analysis are given.
