摘要
iSCSI协议是一种新兴的IP网络存储协议,目前已经成为IETF的建议标准,具有良好的发展前景。本文阐述了基于iSCSI协议,如何通过LVM 实现主机级的存储虚拟化,再将LVM 与iSCSI 通信控制模块形成一个独立的VSCU,进而通过VSCU实现网络级的存储虚拟化。
The iSCSI protocol is a newly developed protocol for IP storage networks, and has been accepted by IETF as a proposal standard and used by more and more network storage systems. In this paper, we give an introduction to how to implement storage virtualization at the level of mainframe by LVM based on the iSCSI protocol, and integrate LVM and the iSCSI communication control module into an independent VSCU, which brings forth storage virtualization at the level of networks.
