Experimental Gene Transfer Study Using Anucleated Reticulocytes as Target Cells

采用无核兔网织红细胞作为外源基因导入的靶细胞，以β－半乳糖苷酶基因的真核表达质粒作为报告基因，研究网织红细胞作为外源基因表达宿主的可能性。结果表明，β－半乳糖苷酶基因可以在兔网织红细胞中有限表达。

We report here a novel approach to introduce reporter β-galactosidase genes into anucleated rabbit reticulocytes. The results indicate that the β-galactosidase gene was expressed to certain degree in the cytoplasm of the reticulocytes. Our study has provided a useful model system for gene expression studies in anucleated eukarvotic cells.
