he colorimetry was used to substitute for procedures of distillation and titration in kjeldahl’s method. Then the proteincontent of yeast tablets was determined. Compared with the pharmacopeial method ,the results showed that the modifiedmethod was simple, rapid,high sensitive and accurate.
