摘要
任颐（1840-1896年），字伯年，号小楼（一作晓楼），浙江绍兴市人，是海上画派的首领人物和杰出代表，与任熊、任薰、任预合称“海上四任”，又与蒲华、虚谷、吴昌硕合称“海上四大家”。
Ren Bonian's achievements are mainly in figures and flowers and bird paintings. He is very particular about the use of colors, which has been regarded as unrivaled for nearly 100 years. The painting 'Hua Zhu San Duo' described a scene of inspection tour of Emperor Yao. It is regarded as his best works.
