Several Reflections on Teaching Translation in Practical English

结合高职高专英语翻译教学的实际情况,重点对三个方面的问题进行了阐述:首先讨论了翻译在实用英语教学中的地位和作用,其次分析了翻译教学的基本原则和基本模式,最后对学生翻译中的常见错误及解决的方法进行了总结,并提出了相应的办法。

Through an analysis of the actual situation in higher vocational colleges, the paper focuses on three issues: the status and function of translation in teaching practical English; the basic principles and models of translation teaching; and some solutions to the problems which some students may encounter frequently when doing their translation exercises.
