从平等派看英国内战时期的“平民公共领域”

The Discussion of the Plebeian Public Sphere in the English Civil War via the Levellers

英国内战不仅使新兴的中产阶级参与到政治运动和讨论中,而且也影响到社会的下层人民,其中最突出的代表就是平等派,在这一运动中,平等派聚集了自己的公众,形成了自己的公众舆论,也有自己的传播媒介,那么是不是平等派的出现就意味着这一时期的英国社会出现了“平民的公共领域”,本文拟就通过平等派来讨论这一问题。

The English Civil War not only made the middle class participating in the political movements and discussions,but also influenced the roughscuff in the society,the most prominent representation is the Levellers. In this movement,the Levellers congregated their own public,formed their own public opionion,and had their own medium,but whether the emergence of the Levellers presumed the emergence of 'the Plebeian Public Sphere'in English Society,this thesis will discuss this question via the Levellers.
