Understanding and Translating of Presupposition

前提内蕴在人们的思维之中。前提的理解和翻译可以通过三个层次实现,即语义前提、语用前提和文化前提。语用前提和文化前提均寓于文本之中,其理解又都超出文本自身,是对语义前提的有益补充,对翻译也有着更为积极和现实的意义。

Presupposition is contained in our thinking. With the development of languages and the study on languages, we have greatly fathered our knowledge in presupposition. The co - authors believe that the understanding and translation of presupposition can be realized by combining three levels of presupposition: semantic presupposition; pragmatic presupposition and cultural presupposition. By comparison, the last two are of greater significance in actual translating of presupposition.
