摘要
从武汉碱性土壤中分离到一株能感染嗜碱芽孢杆菌42—14的噬菌体,定名为AL—W—1。电镜观察表明Al—W—1头部外廓呈正多面体,有不收缩长尾。宿主范围很窄。pH12时最稳定,而在pH4~12范围内均能存活。在pH10的介质里60℃处理20min基本上灭活。
A bacteriophage, AL-W-1 capable of infecting alkalophilic Bacillus sp. No. 42-14 was isolated from alkaline soils in Wuhan, and preliminarily ch aracterized. An electron micrograph of phage AL-W-1 showed that the phage has an icosahedral head, attached to a long tail. The host range of AL-W-1 is narrow. The phage grows optimally at pH12, is stable within the range pH4~12. All of the phages are inactivated at 60℃ for 20 minutes.
