The new requirements of engine oil's formulation was raised due to stricter and stricter environ- mental protection regulations,and the effect of sulfur,phosphor and ash to automobile exhausted gas emission was discussed,and it pointed out that low sulfur,low phosphor and low ash are the development trend of engine oil.
