With the growing demand for software function that can cope with the increasingly diverse tasks of information processing, how can we extended the software function is the most concert question. Not all the case need extensibility. many of the design choices that facilitate extensibility will often hinder other considerations. Designing for extensibility can often add a great deal of complexity to a system. The author is dealing with an integrate network Manage software project. This project demand for developing an extensible and configurable software. Depended on the experience of the develop this project,The author pointed out that XML and component programming gave us the basic technical support for developing this project, and introduced a design method for developing an extensible and configurable software.
