摘要
以问卷调查的形式 ,对大学一年级的学生的听力学习情况作了调查和探讨 ,发现了一些问题 :(1 )学生在听力理解上的主要障碍是词汇、辩音能力较弱及缺乏文化背景知识。 (2 )听力课堂气氛不活跃 ,课堂活动不够丰富 ,教法较呆板。 (3)课外学习进行得不够。文章在调查分析的基础上对大学英语听力教学提出了一些建议。
This paper makes a survey and discussion on English listening situations of freshmen who are selected at random from North China Institute of Water Conservancy and Hydroelectric Power. The major findings are as follows: (1) Students' main handicaps are vocabulary, weak ability in sound recognition and lack of background knowledge in culture;(2) With rigid teaching approaches, the atmosphere in listening class is not active ;(3) Listening activities are not enough after class. On the basis of analyzing the results, the paper further proposes several suggestions for college English teaching in listening.
