"海南现代文学馆"是海南师范学院图书馆目前正在建设的特色文献专藏库。文章阐述了"海南现代文学馆"的缘起、意义和建库的有利条件,并介绍了图书馆在文献的收集、藏书发展构想、文献开发与读者服务等几个方面所做的工作。

'The Modern Hainan Literature Documents Center' is a characteristic storehouse of book-collection now under construction in Hainan Normal University. This paper attempts to expound on the origin, significance and favorable conditions for the construction of the center. Besides, an introduction is also made to some work undertaken by the library in terms of document-collection, proposals for book-collection development, the exploitation of the collections and reader service, etc.
