摘要
1846年海口城军民坚拒清兵,终遭清兵屠城,军民死亡近三万人。这个血腥事件极大震憾隐元大师的灵魂,使他从佛教高僧演变成爱国者。在抗清复明事业中,隐元大师态度鲜明地站在正义立场上,表现了崇高的民族气节。
The fierce resistance of the soldiers and civilians of Haikou, Fuqing, Fujian against the Qing Dynasty's army was followed by the massacre of civilians in Haikou in which casualties amounted to over 30,000. Greatly shocked by the bloody event, master Yinyuan transformed from an eminent monk into a patriot. In the struggle to fight against the Qing Dynasty and recover the rule of the Ming Dynasty, he showed a just stand, revealing his noble national integrity.
