A Tentative Probe into the Educational Value of Olympic Games in Average Institution of Higher Learning

要办好奥运会,器材、场地、体育馆、科学技术是"硬件",而人的体育人文素质是"软件",二者都是不可缺的。本文以普通高校为切入点,探讨在北京申奥成功后开设奥林匹克运动教育的价值和意义,并为落实"人文奥运"提供有效的途径和参考。

To ensure a smooth operation of Olympic Games, equipment, competition arena,gymnasium, science and technology are'hardware', whereas human being's athletic quality is'software', both of which are prerequisite. This paper makes a probe into the educational value and significance of olympic Games in average institution of higher learning after Beijing's successful application of itx, thus providing effective ways and references for the implementation of 'humanistic Olympic Games'.
