Olympic Economy has been a hot topic in China ever since Beijing became the future host of the 2008 Olympic Games. This paper discusses the notion and characteristics of Olympic Economy, the influences of the 2008 Olympic Games on China's economy, and analyses what we should do to evade and prevent against the possible coming 'Olympic Valley Effect'.
