Role of Microwave in Handling Tumor Tissues for Pathology Study

利用微波技术,对人体各种正常及良恶性肿瘤组织进行辐射脱水、透明和浸蜡过程实验研究.结果只用65分钟即达到对组织脱水均匀、彻底,透明和浸蜡充分的目的.保持了各种组织细胞形态结构完整,染色质清晰.获得优良的制片质量.结果表明,微波技术处理组织具有快速、简单、质量稳定可靠的特点.应用于常规组织病理及时诊断具有重要使用价值.

Microwave technique was used in the treatment of human normal and neoplastic tissues.Pieces of completely dehydrated,transparent and well-paraffinized tissues were processed within 65 minutes with the help of microwave. The sections thus obtained were all satisfying in terms of the intactness of tissue structure and good contrast of staining. The authors think that microwave technique has many advantages in the treatment of tissues,and can be used routinely in preparation of pathological sections.
