流式细胞术对脑星形细胞肿瘤的评价

Role of Flow Cytometry in the Grading of gerebral Astrocytomas

本文共收集脑星形细胞瘤32例(Ⅰ、Ⅱ、Ⅲ和Ⅳ级各8例)及肿瘤旁正常脑额叶组织8例为对照组,分别以流式细胞术测定其DNA指数,细胞周期分布及细胞分裂增殖指数,获得下列数据:各级肿瘤组DNA指数依次为1.05±0.05,1.19±0.10,1.37±0.06,及1.48±0.05.对照组为1.00±0.08.各组与对照组相比,除星形细胞瘤Ⅰ级外,余各组P值均<0.01,有显著差异,对协助肿瘤分级有价值.经15例肿瘤随访,其中半年内死亡者,其P值亦<0.01,故有助于对患者预后的估计.

The author collected 32 cases of cerebral astrocytoma and divided them into Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ and Ⅳ grades. Each grade consisted of 8 cases. There was a group of 8 cases with normal cerebral frontal lobe tissue as control. All the above specimens were assayed by flow cytometry respectively for their DNA index, phases of cell cycle and proliferation index. After being treated statistically, it was identified that the DNA index of Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ and Ⅳ grade astrocytoma werg 1.05±0. 05,1. 19±0. 10,1. 37±0. 06 and 1. 48±0. 05 respectively. The control group was 1. 00±0. 08. Except for astrocytoma grade I, the P value of all other groups of astrocytoma compared with normal cerebral group was P<0. 01. Six cases of astrqcytoma died within half a year. Comparing the percentage of S phase in these 6 cases with patients who died within one year, the P value was less than 0. 01. The authors suggested that the DNA index might be helpful in evaluating the patients prognosis.
