社会调查是职业教育发展的基础,通过社会调查,可以描述、解释职业教育发展中出现的各种现象或问题,并能预测这些现象或问题的发展趋势。为了促进职业教育的健康发展,就必须对职业界之状况、社会百业供求状况、学校毕业生状况,各地职业教育状况等进行调查。要做好一项高质量的职业教育社会调查,就必须:了解社会调查的知识体系及方法技术、了解职业教育理论及相关理论,争取多方面的支持与协作、深入到职业教育的实践当中去调查。

The development of vocational education is based on social investigation. Through social investigation  we can describe and explain different phenomena or questions in the development of vocational education and can predict the development trends of these phenomena or questions .
