英语写作一直以来是语言使用者难以掌握的一项技能,因此,教学生如何写作成了教师面临的一个难题.本文重申了英语写作教学的重要性,指出了写作教学中出现的问题,提出了影响学生写作的三个主要因素--母语的影响、教师的影响、学生自己的影响,最后给出了提高写作技能的方法,包括使用多媒体教学.

English writing has been a difficult skill for any language learner to master. Therefore, teaching writing skill becomes a major problem for the teacher. Based on the discussion of the importance of teaching English writing, this thesis points out the problems in teaching English Writing, then lists the major factors influencing students' writing ability, namely, the influence of the mother language, the influence of the teacher and the influence of students themselves. Finally, the article discusses the approaches of improving students' writing skills, including the multimedia approach.
