A Modified Approach to DSR with QoS Support in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks

摘要 针对AdHoc网络中基于资源预留的QoS算法所带来的复杂度问题,本文引入了适合该网络的测量可用带宽算法,并且提出了新的DSR-QoS改进算法。仿真结果表明,在网络业务较大的时候这种改进是有效的,适合实时业务的传输;在网络业务较小的时候,这种改进的效果不是很明显。 In Ad Hoc networks, different QoS routing protocols bring much complexity.In this paper,DSR is modified in order to provide QoS support .To achieve this goal,detailed computations are developed to estimate the available bandwidth in Ad Hoc networks, and then extensive simulation is performed to verify the effectiveness with different environment. Simulations show that the modified protocol is effective and adapt ive to transmit real-time communications in Ad Hoc networks with heavy load, however, it is not effective in Ad hoc networks with light load.
