Neuropsychic Disturbances in Patients with Islet Cell Tumors

报告22例胰岛细胞瘤所致低血糖.临床主要表现为神经精神障碍.容易误诊,早期误诊率达68.2%,误诊为癫痫者45.5%,精神病13.6%,植物神经降碍50%,癔症4.9%.除讨论胰源性低血糖所致神经精神障碍的可能机制外,主要讨论了诊断问题.

The paper reports 22 patients with hypoglycemia caused by islet cell tumor. Most cases presented with signs of neuropsychic disturbances which were often misdiagnosed. Early misdiagnosis rate in this series was as high as 68. 2%. Misdiagnosed as epilepsy occurred in 45. 5% .psychosis in 13. 6% .autonom-ic nervous disturbance in 50%,hysteria in 4. 9%. In addition to possible mechanism of neuropsychic disturbances caused by pancreatogenic hypoglycemia,some of the diagnostic problems were also discussed.
