长江三角洲地区是我国经济最发达的地区之一,区域经济一体化的帷幕已经拉开,区域经济合作已进入了一个新的发展阶段。随着区域经济活动的日益频繁,人口与计划生育管理面临着一系列新的严峻挑战。在此背景下,如何适应长江三角洲区域经济的一体化的新形势,主动融入长江三角洲区域经济共同体,积极构建区域人口与计划生育管理新机制,已成为长江三角洲所属城市政府和计划生育部门面临的重要课题。
