Xiao Bang was the greatest national composer and patriotic musician in the 19th century in Poland. His composing achievements , especially in piano works, have brought out a far-reaching influence on the western European music. He was good at creating the lyric music just like the poem which always implied the patriotic spirit. The paper gives a brief discussion on Xiao Bang's strong national spirit through some of his piano works.
