LuXun is an excellent practitioner and theorist of new poem in modern China. His six free verse written in the vernacular found their full expression in a revolutionary theme and completely new art form which made the beginning of new literature in our country. His research., comments and theoretical structure on new poem laid a solid foundation for the development of new poem of contemporary china. So by reviewing his contribution to it, we can still benefit a lot on our way to the research into the development of the new poems.
