The value of hysterosalpingosonography with pulsed Doppler (HSSGD ) as a half-ration diagnostic tool for tubal patency was evaluated in 391 patients (in all 551times),. HSSGD was compared with hysterosalpingosonography(HSSG) in 551 cases and hysterosalpingography(HSG) in 77 cases. 134cases were examined by HSSGD in 2 times and 13 cases in 3 times. The results indicated that HSSGD had the following advantages: 1. the method was simple and safe 1 2. absence of radiation or risk of contrast sensitization; 3. objective standard of diagnosis and good duplication; 4. half-ration diagnosis for tubal section; 5. guiding clinical treatment in real-time.
