《围城》中的女性形象分析

On analyzing the images of female in Encircle a City

《围城》是中国文学史上的名著,有人认为它是一部女性形象和文人形象的画谱。它集中而深刻地刻划了那个时代的女性形象,从而反映了深广的社会文化内容。作者在描写女性形象时全无雷同之嫌,每个人有每个人的形态性格,苏文纨、唐晓芙、孙柔嘉这三个在主人公方鸿渐生命中最重要的女性各有其特征。但是作者并不是仅仅从人写人,他写出了每个人性格形成的根源,并把形成每个人特征的文化挖掘了出来。作者以婚姻态度为出发点,对每个女性进行了阐释,这些新女性虽然形式上似乎是新的,但本质上还是摆脱不了传统男婚女嫁的观念,还是充当了传统婚姻的一分子。不过,作者着墨不多的唐晓芙身上还是体现了一些新的东西。

Encircle a City, which ever provoked as stir in Chinese literature history, was considered to be a picture to show the images of Chinese women and literator. It gave a profound portray of women in those era, so as to reflect a wide and deep significance of social culture. The author described different female characters, which their personalities and images are respective. Among them, Su Wenwan, Tang Xiaofu, Sun Roujia, those three females, who played the most important roles in the life of the hero Fang Hongjian, have strikingly different idiosyncrasies. The author, however, didn’t depend on the description of persons to reflect persons, but to exploit the springheads behind each character, and further more,to reveal the cultural particularity which bears the different images. The author, started from their different marital attitudes, aimed at the description of each female. They followed the new style of the females in the society, while their minds are deeply affedted by and can’t break off the old, traditional attitudes of marriage style, and finally play a particle in the traditional marriages, whereas some points of new ideas can be found from the character of Tang Xiaofu.
