翻译教学与大学英语教学改革

Translation Teaching and Reform of College English Teaching

新一轮的大学英语教学改革强调培养学生的英语综合应用能力,即综合运用英语语言知识进行听、说、读、写、译等语言活动的能力。翻译能力是学生外语语言和知识各方面能力的综合体现,是双语交际能力的体现,它的培养和提高是大学英语教学的目标之一。针对目前我国大学英语教学中存在的主要是以培养学生语言能力为主的教学翻译,文章阐述了翻译能力和翻译教学在大学英语教学中的重要性,并且探讨了如何在大学英语教学和改革中有效地进行翻译教学的改革。

A new reform of college English teaching emphasizes the cultivation of students’ English communicative competence. As an important part of communicative competence, translation competence is also a reflection of bi-lingual communicative competence. How to improve college students’ translation competence is one of the targets of college English teaching. This paper analyzes the importance of translation competence and translation teaching, and also discusses how to carry out translation teaching in college English teaching.
