The present paper deals with six centipede species of the genus Otostigmus (subgenus Otostigmus) belonging to Otosigminae, Scolopendridae, Scolopendromorpha. Among them, three species are already known to China, two are new records from our fauna and one is new to science. All of these species are described in details and figured. We failed to make a redescription of another known species O. (O.) astenus in the paper because lacking the specimen. A key to the species mentioned is provided as well. All specimens are deposited in the Museum of Hebei University. 1. Otostigmus. (O.) astenus (Kohlrausch, 1881) Distribution in China: Xisha islands and Taiwan. 2. Otostigmus (O.) scaber Porat, 1876 (Figs. 1-13) Distribution in China: Anhui, Fujian, Hubei, Hunan, Sichuan and Taiwan. 3. Otostigmus (O.) politus Karsch, 1881(Figs. 14-26) Distribution in China: Beijing, Hebei, Liaoning, Neimenggu, Sichuan, Tianjin and Yunnan. 4. Otostigmus (O.) aculeatus Hasse, 1887 (Figs. 27-33) Distribution in China: Hainan, Hunan and Taiwan. 5. Otostigmus (O.) martensi Lewis, 1992 (Figs. 34-40) Distribution in China: Xizang. 6. Otostigmus (O.) beroni Lewis, 2001 (Figs. 41-46) Distribution in China: Xizang. 7. Otostigmus (O.) lewisi sp. nov. (Figs. 47-53) Diagnosis: 18 antennomeres, the basal 2.5~2.7 segments glabrous dorsally. Forcipular coxosternal teeth typically 3+3, the inner two on each side more or less fused. Tergites with complete paramedian sutures from 5; marginate from 6~8, without keels or spines. Sternites with complete paramedian sutures from 4 to (19. Last) sternite with sides converging caudally and posterior edge strongly concave, with central longitudinal depression. Coxopleural process short, typically with two end spines, two lateral spines and one dorsal spine. Last leg prefemur with prominent spines on swollen bases. Holotype: specimen 1, 54 mm; Jiacha, Xizang, 23 Aug. 2002, coll. Zhu Ming-sheng et al.; paratypes: 5 exs. (specimens 2-6), 22~56 mm, same as holotype.
