中国古代女性文化教育特征刍议

Preliminary Discussion on Female Cultural Education in Ancient China

通过考察,我们不难发现,中国古代女性文化教育上的第一个明显的特征表现为家庭化,家庭化的文化教育是中国古代女性文化教育的主要方式;其次是偏重伦常道德、规范女性行为的特征;第三则是喜爱文史的特征,即大多数女性都喜爱文史知识,重在对自己文学修养的提高上,而并非像男性那样非得去读枯燥乏味的经书、或者囿于入仕或科举不得不读固定的书本。

With the studying, it is not difficult for us to find that the first distinctive feature on female cultural education in ancient China is family-oriented, which was the main form of female cultural education in ancient China; the second feature is the tendency to emphasize overly on ethnicity and morality, and standardized female behavior in female cultural education in ancient China; the third is literature and history-loving, that is, a majority of women preferred literature and historical knowledge, stressing on improving their literature cultivation, unlike men who were obsessed to read the tedious classics, or books specially designated for the imperial examination.
