Effect of competitive information on R&D in chemical industry and the requirements for competitive information in R&D was discussed. Indicated that strengthening the competitive information service is imperative. Expatiated that R&D is the key for the development of chemical enterprises. We must emphasize the development and the practical utilization in order to base the chemical enterprises upon the hot - competitive market.
