Biefly presents the developing trend of aromatics industry, analyzes the operating conditions of Qilu aromatics plant, analyzes the necessity and possibility of the revamp of Qilu aromatics plant for capacity expansion in the light of its feedstock variation after the capacity of Qilu ethylene plant was expanded to 720kt/a and finally presents several tentative ideas for aromatics capacity expansion, such as 'Combined process of extractive distillation with liquid - liquid extraction for extraction system' , 'Xylene iso-merisation replaced with toluene shape - selective disproportionation unit', 'Ethyl benzene separation technology' and 'Pyrolysis gasoline full distillate hydrogenation to enhance output of pentane oil and Cg aromatics feedstock.
