《春秋谷梁传注疏》引书八十余种,颇为繁富,其中原书大部分已失传,赖《春秋谷梁传注疏》保存一二,故其保存文献之功极大。《春秋谷梁传注疏》引书也极有特点,如三礼方面的书籍所占比例大、所引书名篇名不一、会通《春秋》三传、所引材料与现存文献的差异以及包容唯心主义色彩较浓的纬书等。这些需要辩证的分析和研究。

The Commentary and Sub-commentary to Chun Qiu Gu Liang Zhuan quoted over eighty books, but most of them had lost, and now we can only find some preserved parts of them in the Commentary and Sub-commentary to Chun Qiu Gu Liang Zhuan. So, the Commentary should be meritocracy. The quoted books of the Commentary and Sub-commentary to Chun Qiu Gu Liang Zhuan had five characters of its own, and all of them need to be analyzed and studied.
