The composition, design thought, main functions and features of the numerically-controlled automatic dosing system of the concentrator of Shaoxing Tongdu Copper Mining Co., Ltd are described. This system design uses reliable and durable dosing valve as execution mechanism, Siemens PLC S7-200 as controller, industrial touch screen for local display and Windows 2000 and configuration software as the development plateform. It is suitable for mine application and has achieved remarkable effect in the real production application.
