中篇传奇小说是中国小说发展史上的创举和破例。中篇传奇小说叙事格局的形成与发展,为明清以降白话中、长篇小说的繁盛,储存了许多有益的经验、实践和机会。以《钟情丽集》为考察中心,可总结出明代中篇传奇小说在叙事时空、诗词插附和意象叙事以及叙事制度等方面的基本叙事技法和策略。

Legendary novelette is an innovative and exceptional genre in the history of Chinese fiction. The development of its narrative pattern paves the way for the prosperity of novels as well as novelettes in the vernacular Chinese in the succeeding years of the Ming and Qing dynasties. The paper, with reference to the sample of Zhongqingliji, studies the general workmanship and devices covering space-time、verse infix, imagery, and the system of narration.
