A Critical Review of the Narrating Strategy of the Chinese Novel “The Bridge”

通过对废名经典作品《桥》的叙述学分析,考察《桥》的叙述文本、叙述者、叙述时间,从一个侧面阐述《桥》的话语结构特征。同时也对《桥》内容和形式的独特性成因作一定的探索。

The paper conducts an analysis of the Chinese classic “The Bridge” in terms of narrating strategy. The analysis covers such elements as the text proper, time of narration, and the author Fei Ming, shedding light on the discourse features of the novel. It also ventures to probe into some causative factors of the distinctive features concerning the content and form of the work.
