Mental Health of Junior Middle School Students in Wenzhou: A Status Quo Survey

用SCL-90量表对温州市初中生的心理健康状况进行了抽样调查研究。结果显示,9个因子得分都显著高于全国常模;总体得分表现出初二低于初一、初一低于初三的特点;女生各因子均分均高于男生,仅强迫症状、敌对、偏执无显著差异;父母亲自照顾的学生心理健康优于其他抚养方式的学生。结论:目前温州市初中生心理健康水平低于全国常模。

This study is a sample survey of the mental health of junior middle school students in Wenzhou with an SCL-90 rating scale. Results show that the mean scores of 9 factors are significantly higher than those of the national norm. Significant differences are found between grades and sexes, with Grade 2 students scoring lower than Grade 1 which in turn score lower than Grade 3, and girls scoring significantly higher than boys. Insignificant differences come only from such factors as compulsion, hostility and narrow-mindedness. And students under their own parents’ care enjoy better mental health than those under otherwise cares. It concludes that the mental health level of junior middle school students in Wenzhou is lower than that of the national norm at present.
