Review and Prospect of Developing New Type Ships through Cooperation

回顾了上海船舶研究设计院与江南造船厂在过去三十年间密切合作共同开发若干新船型并实现批量建造的业绩,他们为国家海运事业发展和高技术船舶出口做出了重大贡献。文章建议江南造船集团在建设长兴造船基地的同时,及早安排新船型的开发,如VLBC、VLCC、大型集装箱船、大型滚客船以及豪华旅游船等高新船舶,为新的基地准备一批性能优秀,受市场欢迎的新船型,使基地建成后就具备竞争优势。

This paper reviews the cooperation of Jiangnan Shipyard and SDARI (Shanghai Merchant Ship Design & Research Institute) in the development of new type ships in past years. These new ships have been put in mass production and made great contribution to China’s domestic coastal transportation and were exported to oversea countries. The paper also proposes that new type ships, that will be built in new Changxing Shipbuilding Base, such as VLBC, VLCC, large containers, modern Ropax, cruise ships etc, should be researched and developed as early as possible.
