A Rational Review on the Recent Development of University Functions

近年来,很多研究者对大学职能的最新演进提出了自己的观点。但是,从大学职能变迁的历史看,每一个新职能的产生都是社会政治、经济、文化等因素长期影响的结果。因此,应理性看待大学职能的发展,提出应以发展的眼光、正确的时空观、辩证的思想和协调的观点来判断大学职能的演进。

In recent years, many researchers have proposed their views on the recent development of university functions. However, seen from an angle of its evolution history, it is discovered that every new function is the result of long-range effect of factors like social politics, economy and culture and so on. Consequently, the development of university functions should be viewed rationally. This paper discusses that the evolution of university functions is to be judged in the view of development, appropriate time and place, dialectic thought and coordination.
