解读《喜福会》中的“母亲”形象

谭恩美的创作主要通过性别和种族两个视角审视主体人物在本族文化和主流文化中的遭遇,探询华裔女性这样的双重主体在美国社会中的双重文化存在。通过解读谭恩美的成名作《喜福会》中的母亲形象,我们看到作者使用西方文化视角,把历史记忆再现的间接真实和印象式虚幻建构的主观真实缠绕在一起,造就了既承载真实又涂抹上虚幻的复合文化载体,在一定程度上改进了美国主流文化对华裔移民形象的认识和了解。
